Closing Date for Applications: Download forms and fill in information. Application forms must be submitted by Friday 3rd July, 2009 to the Buccoo Reef Trust. Its best to deliver in person, but if that's not possible, you can send the completed form via email, fax or post (see contacts below). Successful applicants will be notified by July 10th 2009 that they can register.

Cost: TT$300. Cheques should be made payable to "Buccoo Reef Trust".

Venue: Buccoo Reef Trust, Cowie's Building, Carnbee Junction, Auchenskeoch Road, Carnbee, Tobago

Suitability: Fourth form to fourth year undergraduate students. Geography and Biology teachers.

Travel to Venue: All participants are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements to the Venue. Transportation will be provided for programme activities only.

Sea, Sun & Science Guidelines

These guidelines are here to ensure that everyone enjoy the SSS experience.

During the Sea, Sun and Science programme participants are not allowed to leave the Buccoo Reef Trust compound without permission and are expected to:

1. Dress and conduct yourselves in an appropriate manner. You will be asked to change or wear a wrap if not properly attired. The following WILL NOT BE ALLOWED:
a. Very short pants/skirts (must not be more than 3 inches above the knee)
b. Midriff / halter tops or vests
c. Low cut tops
d. Bikinis without t-shirts over it

2. Be punctual and participate in all lectures and activities for the entire duration of the Sea, Sun and Science programme (13th July – 24th July, 2009).

3. Complete activity journals and a unit project on selected/assigned topics for graduation.

4. Inform volunteers and BRT staff of any illness, problems or damage to property that occur during the course of the programme. Volunteers may be rotated amongst 5 units for the duration of the programme and volunteers will be responsible for the unit assigned on any given day. However, participants will still be under the supervision of any volunteer or BRT staff member during the programme.

5. Provide themselves with:
a. Transport to and from the BRT office
b. Food and water
c. Medication

6. Treat the property of the Buccoo Reef Trust with care and keep the workspace clean.

7. Treat everyone with respect.
